What is PACAC Day?
PACAC Day is a celebration of higher education and the individuals who work so hard to help students reach their higher education goals. On this day, we want to share with everyone the great things that secondary school counselors, college admission counselors, and many others do to help students in the college selection process. We also would like to share the many things that PACAC does that helps students in their college search. And we want YOU to share what you love about education and what you love about PACAC.
Share your PACAC pride and celebrate the positives of our profession in a difficult time!
On Thursday, May 21, 2020, we will be posting photos, videos and stories that highlight the positive happenings in higher education that our members have been a part of. We'd especially love for you to post thoughts around being thankful and finding positives in what has been a difficult spring. Who or what has been a silver lining in our profession? For what or whom are you grateful as you've tackled new challenges and a new way of serving students? Post to Facebook, Instagram and Twitter using #PACACDay.
- Tag your PACAC friends, mentors, and mentees
- Tag colleagues you'd love to see join PACAC
- Wear PACAC gear or purple and gold!
- Print off a sign (or make your own!) and take a picture of you or your staff (in a virtual meeting, of course) with it
- Share your stories of how we've connected even though we're apart
- Join us for coffee and/or happy hour!
