August Admission Workshop

PACAC is happy to again offer our August Admission Workshop! This informative and fun event will be held virtually (via Zoom) on Tuesday, August 15, 2023.

This opportunity is for College Admissions Counselors new to the profession to discuss the value of our work, current issues in higher education, working toward equity and inclusion in our profession, and more! During the program, attendees will gather in an informal setting for dialogue, idea exchange, and collaboration, and depart having gained a network of colleagues for continued professional communication and support.

  • 10:30am-11:15am Session I: Changing Demographics and the Admission Funnel 
  • 11:15am-12pm Session II: Road Warriors
  • 12pm-1pm Break for Lunch
  • 1pm-1:45pm Session III: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in our Work 
  • 1:45pm-2:30pm Session IV: Leadership Mentoring & Networking
  • 2:30pm/2:45pm Closing Remarks

**PACAC provides financial support to attend PACAC professional development opportunities through the Counselor Assistance Program Grants.
Applications are due by August 1st.

  • Cancellations made after August 11, 2023 will not be issued a refund.
