55th Annual PACAC Conference

The 2018 Conference will be held at Kalahari Resort & Convention Center, June 24-26!

For more than 50 years, our annual conference has been the highlight of the year for our members, who come together from all over the state to enjoy three days of:

  • Networking and camaraderie with fellow attendees
  • Our Third Annual College Tour for Secondary School, Independent Counselor, and Community Organization Members.
  • Educational sessions on best practices (with some sessions eligible for ACT 48 credit)
  • Activities including a 5K run/walk and golf tournament
  • Stellar food and dancing at our semi-formal gala
  • Awards and installation of leaders
  • Meeting with exhibitors who provide services to help you help your students

This year's Kick-Off Speaker is David Burge, NACAC President. David Burge is the Vice President for Enrollment Management at George Mason University and the current President of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC.)  His 20 years of professional experience includes time at Arizona State University, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the University of Kansas, all in the office of admissions.  In his personal life, Burge has designated himself “The Best MarioKart Racer of All-Time” and will accept a challenge anyone from anyone in PACAC who wants to test his skills

Our Keynote Speaker is Senator Andy Dinniman is a Democratic member of the Pennsylvania State Senate who has represented the 19th District since June 2006.  Known by the people of Chester County simply as “Andy,” Senator Andrew E. Dinniman is recognized as a leader in education and has been an advocate for communities and families through three decades in public service.  That vision and leadership led to his 2006 election and reelection in 2008, 2012, and 2016 to the Pennsylvania Senate.
