Applications are currently being accepted for two of the former Pennsylvania Governor’s Schools, the PA School for Global Entrepreneurship at Lehigh University and the University of Pittsburgh Health Career Scholars Academy. Applications for both programs are due by February 15, 2012.

Take Action! Support Pathways to College Act

 

The Pathways to College Act is a bill designed to aid low-income and first generation students in the transition to postsecondary education by emphasizing the importance of school counseling in the college and career planning process. This bill will provide competitive grant funds to high-need school districts to invest in school counseling services by hiring, training, and equiping counselors to establish a college-going culture.
