PACAC is a network of over 800 professionals dedicated
to the successful transition of Pennsylvania students from high school
to postsecondary education. We are comprised of secondary schools,
colleges and universities, individuals and agencies engaged in providing
programs, products, and services in keeping with the Statement
of Principles of Good Practice.
Benefits of PACAC membership include:
Making Connections: You'll
meet colleagues in both secondary schools and colleges, as well as
independent counselors and individuals among other educational organizations
whose mission complements that of PACAC. Get to know the person behind
the recommendation or the face behind the acceptance (or rejection)
letter!
Taking Action: Make your
voice heard on the issues of the day; be part of a politically and
socially active group for the betterment of education.
Participating in Regional
College Fairs: PACAC sponsors regional fairs throughout the Commonwealth
in Delaware County, Montgomery County, Harrisburg Area, Northeast
Region, Mainline (Philadelphia) Area, Northampton County, Monroe County,
and the Northwest Region.
Being Informed About the
Latest Topics: Electronic applications, guidance software, trends
toward early decision, universal transcripts, financial aid, collaborative
models for delivering services to students and their families, etc.

and The Summer Institute. Share your ideas, concerns, questions and
answers with colleagues across the state. Hone presentation and organization
