Dear Friends and Colleagues,

The Conference Planning Committee looks forward to your attendance at the 45th Annual Conference at the Hilton Harrisburg on June 22 - June 24, 2008.

Did you know that you can register yourself, or your entire staff, online? You can! Follow the easy steps online to register your office all at one time. Did you know that you can pay by check or credit card when you register online? You can! Follow the easy steps online to pay by credit card, or print an invoice and pay by check. Online registration is encouraged. Registration closes Friday, May 23, 2008, so don't delay.

The PACAC room block is open at the Hilton Harrisburg. Make your hotel reservation now. Reserve your accommodations online at www.harrisburg.hilton.com or by phone at 1-800-Hiltons. Be sure to use the group code ADM when making your reservation. The deadline to reserve your room is Wednesday, May 21, 2008.

Dress for the Monday night Gustafson Banquet is business professional. Dress for the rest of the conference is casual. Don't forget - Monday is School Spirit Day!

If 2008 will be your first PACAC Annual Conference, please plan to arrive and register before the First-Timer's Reception at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. Members of the PACAC Executive Committee and Conference Planning Committee look forward to welcoming you. You will be introduced to PACAC and our conference.

We are excited that Carlos Ojeda, Jr. will join us as this year's Keynote Speaker. He has been called one of the most dynamic speakers under thirty in America today. For more information, please visit his website at www.carlosojedajr.com.

On Monday from 3:30-4:30 p.m. there will be a casual college fair for secondary school counselors. Please consider staffing a table for one hour to interact with secondary school counselors and provide them information about your school. To reserve a table (at no cost) please indicate your interest on the registration form. For more information, please contact Michele Zalno at michele.zalno@wilkes.edu.

Help us raise funds for the Gustafson Endowment Fund. A raffle will be held throughout the conference. The monies collected will be used to help support professional development opportunities for underfunded and/or underrepresented groups, such as inner city and/or rural secondary school counselors. Your generosity is appreciated.

Save room in your suitcase for toiletries. Please donate to our annual toiletry drive. All donations will be collected at registration and during the conference and will be divided between The Ronald McDonald House and The Bethesda Mission. The office and the individual who donate the most toiletries will each receive a prize! A Pre-Conference Leadership Development Workshop will be held Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Preparing to take on a leadership role at work, in your community, or with PACAC? Already in a leadership role but looking to improve and strengthen your skills? This highly interactive experience is for you! Enrollment for this workshop is limited to 20 participants. Cost is $25 per registrant. To register, indicate your interest on the registration form. For more information, please contact Maria DeCrosta at pacac@verizon.net.

Please join us for our annual Golf Tournament on Sunday. Tee off is 10:00 a.m. on Sunday and space is limited. The cost is $50 and includes green fees, cart, breakfast and prizes. On Sunday, we will be offering tickets to the 1:05 p.m. Harrisburg Senators game when they take on Erie. To reserve a ticket, please indicate your interest on the registration form. For more information, please contact Niki Kelley at niki.kelley@jefferson.edu.
